Dr Lett is very professional. As a RN I want someone who doesn't get in a hurry to make big bucks by surgery. He is willing to listen to you & use safer alternatives! 5 star doctor!

Not really sure how to rate my experience- first visit I witnessed a receptionist arguing with a patient who informed them he was going to seek another doctor. I thought then hmm! But since I worked in a professional setting with the public I figured is was just one of those days for the patient, I seen this doctor 1 time, took my CIT and MRI's plus other images and diagnosis with me, he right away told me he was going to schedule me to have surgery which I did. Anyway a couple of weeks ago I thought hey since I have to have surgery for Carpol Tunnel on the same hand perhaps he could do both save me money and to keep me from going under the knife on the same hand. Well instead of taking the advice of other professionals to have the surgery he ordered me to have the same text *less than 7 months* Well okay I went to have the test, the electro one, but then they said they wanted to do the muscle one well that one I had problems with before it was so painful that the doctors had to sedate me and inject me with morphine, I explained that I rather not and the reason, the doc was very nice and stated he understood, I called to talk to someone about the date, this Darla lady asked me why I didn't have the whole test I explained, she was hateful said "YOU have to have it to determine if you have Carpol Tunnel, I told her she should look at the record and I will talk to the Doc when I see him again, she did that snicker hateful laughh, I asked why are you laughing it's not funny. She stated in a loud voice "I AM NOT Laughing, *I was on speaker phone since I can not hold the phone very well without the hand going numb and pain-I had people here who heard every word, okay, I just took her name and told her to have a good day. that was 4 days ago, well today I called since no one called me yet about a time and I have surgery the beginning of the week, I was told by the Pre Op ppl that it was cancel but not sure by whom, I called this lady said she called my cell said error msg stated no msg was set up yet, I am like yeah right, same phone for over 14 yrs msg always worked but okay, then she got it's not Dr's fault it is yours! I am like why? She said I told a receptionist that I am not going to allow her to put needles in me or anyone I am like WHAT! This women took it out of text and this women today told me she over heard the conversation and that Darla didn't laugh. I told her well I also had someone here who heard everything she then acted like a kid I mean a teenager. I am just going to talk to DR Lett right now and hung up, so I got on the phone with my reg doctor to ask for a different one then the receptionist called me while I was asking so I switched back The same receptionist, I asked I guess he canceled it again right? she goes no you need to be at the hsp at 6am, okay, Then again she goes it's not the DR fault and he will call you later, Good I thought for he needs to know how his people are talking to others. He might be a GREAT Dr but his staff represent him and if they act like kids it sets a picture that he is just as bad. So you see it is hard to rate. I did however explain to my regular Dr and she understood my frustration and agree's with me. And after this surgery I have set I will be seeing another doctor for after care. Why you might ask am I allowing him to do this Surgery, Well I have someone who flew in to help me and it's not cheap so since I have no one else right now I had no choice, but after this I do. I hope no one else has to go through this.
