I am so upset with the emergency room staff.. a football player was rushed to emergency due to a possible head injury. After the game some of us parents and players came to check on the 7th grade kid. We were very respectful. Yes we were standing around but we were no loud at all. No kids were running around. Just waiting for word on how he was. The lady checking people in called security on us and was very rude. There was absolutely no reason for security to come or for us to be treated so bad. I have always been behind our hospital and praised them. No more!!!! Very disappointed in this hospital staff.
I was scheduled for a test requiring I stay overnight. The hospital secured my BCBS insurance information, in advance - and the hospital is a preferred provider in the BCBS network - yet when I showed up for my test they demanded almost $300 as a deductible despite me telling them there was not one due. I paid, BCBS later paid the hospital 100%, and almost 3 weeks later I still had not received a refund of the money the hospital demanded I pay. After my complaint, it was almost another 4 weeks before the money was finally returned to me.
As a network provider, they should have known BCBS would pay 100%; perhaps, they were hoping I would be too lazy to demand my refund. The burden fell on me to get my refund. If you require medical care at this facility, I recommend you ensure beforehand what you will be required to pay in advance, and check that against your insurance benefits if you may be financially burdened by an arbitrary charge similar to what I incurred.
This hospital is a wonderful location to go if you ever have any medical emergencies or need a surgery. Today I had my very first surgery and it was a great experience , all the nurses were very nice to me and so was the surgeon. I highly recommend this hospital.
This staff does not care about their patients. There is absolutely no sense of urgency whatsoever! I have been here in a room with my 8 year old son with a possible concussion for 40 minutes and NO ONE has even been in here to ask the first question. I'd hate for something to be seriously wrong with him. You'd probably die before they even asked you what happened! Step it up Enterprise Emergency Room! You can do better than this!
I was experiencing severely distressing symptoms. I went to the Emergency room and waited less than 20 minutes. The doctors worked quickly. One of them even gave me a hug. Everyone was very pleasant and the facility is very clean. Overall, it was a good experience.
