Walmart greeter doesn't get you a cart. Carts were rained on. I asked her for one of the paper towels, which were 12 inches from her, and she just looked at them and looked at me. I had to get them myself. I don't mind, but what are you doing there? I understand you need a job, but do something besides be in the way.
They have pretty much everything you need but the experience is never pleasant. I don't feel like a customer I feel like an employee shopping on my lunch break. There's no one to help you, you have to do your own price checks because items are not properly labeled and the scanners are few and far between you're your own cashier and bagger. I'll be damned if you get an employee discount.
Just like any other Walmart in America. I like it because it's not as crowded as some other Walmarts in the country. But again it's in a small town in AL. They have a wide selection of stuff, sales often and the staff is usually very helpful and friendly.
Incident-- at the check out register the couple ahead of me, clearly not affluent, was trying to use just-expired coupons. Your clerk seeing that they needed the discounts called a manager for approval of the coupons...which was immediately granted.
As always: friendly, courteous staff; plenty of what I need/want on the shelves; store is always clean & well kept.
The transaction was handled quietly, discreetly so as not to embarrass the customers. Even though I was delayed by five minutes in my check out I felt very good about the efforts made to help those folks.
When I checked out I commended the cashier -- who smiled broadly & wished me a Merry Christmas.
Finally, this little vignette is not unusual at the Enterprise, AL store. I see acts of individual & corporate kindness at this store on almost every visit.
Seems like an alright place. Staff could be a little more friendly and they could pick better times to wax the floor so they didn't need to shut down the Isle I happen to needed something off of lol. Other than that good prices and food looks fresh.
