After trying firehouse subs so many years ago it's so hard to go anywhere else. Best subs around, and it doesn't even matter which location you go to, never been disappointed yet.
When you are in the area, this is an excellent place to have some great food at a local restaurant. Five stars easily.
Super friendly and engaging. I went to Firehouse Subs after attending a funeral in Elba (very nice town) I still had on my suit and my odd way of talking identified me as a FURNER. After I finished my sandwich, I began working on my computer, the friendly clerk came by and took away all my trash and then told me to take as much time as I needed, "you can stay here as long as you want." Later I wondered if she meant not going back to wherever I came from! It crossed my mind.

I was very disappointed with the salad I got from Firehouse Subs. I felt that it was very overpriced for the product that I received, which was a salad , not only the portion bad in the large bowl, but the small containers of salad dressing were a joke. I also had to ask for crackers ,,,,what a mistake ,, They were stale.. for $8.50 take the extra time to go to Hungry Howies..
