I've moved many times and have ALWAYS used Budget Truck Rental, because my dad insisted on it years ago the first time I moved away from home. I rent the 16-footers because they are big enough for my needs and comfortable for a long ride on the highway. My most recent move, moving items from storage back to the local area in Nov., was 1,000 miles. My only complaint was we couldn't stop and stretch our legs and sightsee near Chattanooga because some of the old overpasses on the local roads there are not high enough for the truck to pass under. As always, great experience and they beat the competition's price.
I want to start by saying that this is the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND MANAGEMENT I HAVE EVER DEALT IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!! We made a reservation (gave credit card info) earlier in the day.. drove 4 hours and we find out later that they close at 1. We called for over an hour and GET NOTHING (well before they close). We get there before 1 and these idiots closed before 1. Im personally going to find the owner of this store or whoever the higher up is and make sure who ever responsible for this is going to pay. DONT NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY OF SCAMMERS. On my fathers grave, SOMEBODY IS GOING TO PAY FOR THIS!!!!!!
We rented a truck to move across the country. And it was the worst! Don't ever rent a Budget moving truck. The truck they gave us locked us out when we locked the doors. We waited two hours after calling them and when no one called back we called them and they hadn't even called roadside assistance! What a joke. It's been 3 hours and we're still waiting.
They called me the morning of the Day I was supposed to pick up My truck which was supposed to be at 11 AM and told me they don’t have a truck for me after I drove 6 1/2 hours for the truck to move my daughter. And then they expected me to drive two hours to go pick up a different truck at a different location this is the second time that I’ve had this issue happened to me budget truck rental is the worst rental company ever!!!!!!!!!
